Google Announces Google One Storage Plans

Earlier this year Google announced a new subscription platform called Google One, and it was slowly rolled out to certain people with Google Drive paid plans. Now this service is launching widely in U.S. New users can sign up for the subscription too.
Previously, Google just offered $1.99 monthly fee for 100GB of storage and $9.99 monthly fee for 1TB of storage in Google Drive. Now the new Google One subscription service introduces a new 200GB plan for $2.99 monthly, and the $9.99 pricing tier includes 2TB of storage instead of 1TB. As a result of the change, current customers with the 1TB plan will be upgraded to 2TB automatically. If you need more storage space, you have the options of 10 TB, 20 TB and 30 TB plans for between $99.99 and $299.99 per month. Pricing for plans larger than 2TB remain the same.
As a contrast, Apple’s iCloud also provide 2TB of storage for $9.99 per month, while Microsoft OneDrive has a 1TB paln for $6.99 monthly and Dropbox Plus for $8.25.
Google One also brings two noticeable changes: the access to live 24/7 support and the family sharing. Subscribers of 200GB plan or higher can call or chat with experts to answer questions about Google products and services, and they can share their storage allotment with up to five family members with the Family Sharing feature.
Note that Google One is a consumer services so the changes will not affect G Suite customers. A Google account has a free 15GB of storage in its services. You can visit Google One website to upgrade to one of the service's new plans, and if you have paid for extra storage with Google Drive, you will be upgraded to Google One for free.
By far Google One is only available in U.S. and will roll out to more countries soon. Google also announces that new perks are on the way for Google One subscribers. Which cloud storage service are you using now? Tell us the reason why you choose it.
